All participants will begin at 9:00 a.m. The race course will close at 10:00 a.m.

Packet Pick Up
All participants who register on or before September 29th, 2022 will receive a goodie bag complete with individually numbered bib with chip-timer and a commemorative Forte 5k hoodie. Participants who register after September 29th, 2022 are not guaranteed a hoodie.
Early packet pickup will be available on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Channahon Junior High School, 24917 W Sioux Dr., Channahon, IL 60410, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A table will be set up at the front entrance of the school.
There will be race day packet pickup beginning at 7:30 a.m. in the packet pickup tent located near the parking lot of the state park. Runners are strongly encouraged to pick up their packet in advance.

Prohibited Items
No pets, skateboards, roller blades, unauthorized bicycles, or any other wheeled devices are permitted on the race course. Participants with baby joggers or strollers are allowed, however they must start behind the other participants.
Aid Station
There will be one aid station on the course at roughly the halfway mark with cups of water. If any other support is necessary, participants are encouraged to carry their own water or other nutrition.
Parking
There will be ample street parking in the neighborhood outside of Channahon State Park. Please refrain from parking on the race course on Canal St.
Finish Line and Refreshments
There will be water, bananas, and a selection of baked goods donated from our music booster families available for participants once they have crossed the finish line.
Age Groups Awards and Results
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age groups are 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 & up.
There will be an awards ceremony shortly after the race once the final results are calculated. Results will be posted as soon as possible online at Forte5k.com and at ItsRaceTime.com. Participants may choose to receive a text message with their finish time shortly after crossing the finish line. This option can be selected at registration.
Inclement Weather & Emergency Communication
The race will be held rain or shine. However, the race may be delayed, ended early, or canceled due to severe weather (including lightening) or any other event causing unsafe conditions for our participants and volunteers. In the event of a delay or cancellation, announcements will be made via our website, Facebook page, and emails to participants.
