Race Course
The 5k course begins in the parking lot of Channahon State Park (Story St. entrance).

1. Proceed from the start line and turn left to exit the state park towards Canal St.
2. Turn right on Canal St. until you reach Bridge St.
3. Turn right onto Bridge St. until you reach the I&M Canal Towpath entrance.
   
4. Turn left onto the I&M Canal Towpath until you reach the path towards Four Rivers Environmental Center.
   
5. Turn left onto path until you reach the Prairie Loop Trail.
   
6. Turn right onto Prairie Loop Trail. Stay on Prairie loop trail until you have made a full loop.
   
7. Turn right onto path until you reach the I&M Canal Towpath. Oncoming runners will be on your left.
   
8. Turn right onto the I&M Canal Towpath until you reach the parking lot at Bridge St.
9. Turn left to take the path under Bridge St. (Do NOT cross over Bridge St.)
10. Pass the lock-tender's house until you reach the path at the campground entrance.
11. Turn right onto path and proceed to finish line.
