Race Course
The 5k course begins just outside of the Channahon State Park entrance on Canal St., just north of Story St.

1. Proceed from the start line and turn left to exit the state park towards Canal St.
2. Turn right on Canal St. until you reach Bridge St.
3. Turn right onto Bridge St. until you reach Blackberry Ln.
4. Turn left onto Blackberry Ln. until you reach Walnut Ln.
5. Turn left onto Walnut Ln. and enter Four Rivers Environmental Education Center. Proceed past both parking lots.
6. Keep right as you come to the path crossing. Oncoming runners will be on your left.
7. Once you reach the turn-around (prior to the traffic circle), turn towards your left and head back down Walnut Ln. Keep right, as oncoming runners will be on your left.
8. At fist path crossing, turn right onto path.
9. Turn left at the fork.
10. At first opportunity, turn left onto path until you reach the I&M Canal Towpath.
11. Turn right onto the I&M Canal Towpath until you reach the parking lot at Bridge St.
12. Turn left to take the path under Bridge St. (Do NOT cross over Bridge St.)
13. Pass the lock-tender's house until you reach the path at the campground entrance.
    
14. Turn right onto path and proceed to finish line.
